Where Is Your Focus?

“Energy goes where attention flows.” You may have heard this saying before or this may be the first time you’re seeing it. Either way it doesn’t matter as long as you realize that it is 100% true. So in today’s (short and sweet) blog post I want to ask you a very important question: Where is your focus?

Where is your energy flowing? Is it on all the things going wrong in your life? On lack and limitation? Or is it on all the joy and positivity that is around and available to you in every moment? This is a REALLY important question so I want you to really take the time and honestly answer these questions.

The reason why it is so important to know where you’re focusing all or at least most of the time is because, well, energy goes where attention flows. The more you focus on what is going wrong in your life, the more you’re essentially proclaiming to the universe “I like when things go wrong; I like being unhappy! Please send me more situations that make me feel bad!” Whereas when you are focusing on what’s going right in your life you’re proclaiming “I like being and feeling happy; please send me more situations that will make me happy!”

This is one of the most basic, yet one of the most important principles of the law of attraction. “Like attracts like,” “what you focus on expands.” So what do you want to expand in your life? If you have 99 problems and only one thing going right in your life I can guarantee that if you put more of your focus on that one thing going right those 99 problems will either just melt away on their own or the solutions will more clearly and easily be shown to you.

So as you go about your day I want you to make it a point to stop from time to time and ask yourself “Where is my focus right now?” If your answer is anything negative, make it a point to shift your focus to something you feel good about, no matter how small or trivial. The point is to shift your energy from a negative vibration to a positive one so anything that does that, any thoughts that provide you some feelings of relief or positivity are good and you should keep focusing on those thoughts. This is SO important it really can’t be overstated.

So until next time just keep in mind to focus on the positive as much as possible and always remember…You are magnificent!
